Type Rating CoursesA license holder must possess a valid type rating in order to fly a specific helicopter type. Each helicopter type requires that the license holder has successfully passed a type course and check flight with a CAA-examiner.
Night flying check outThis course qualifies pilots holding a PPL-H for flying at night (between official sunset and sunrise).
Conversion FAA to JARPilots with training and license issued in countries outside the JAA region (Europe), typically the United States (FAA regulations) must convert their licenses to JAA licenses to work as pilots in JAA countries.

Bernt Amundsen finished his commercial helicopter pilot license in January 2009. He's now working as an flight instructor at EHC where he teach new students how to fly.
Eirik Andreas Hatlem

Eirik Andreas Hatlem finished his commercial helicopter pilot license in September 2010. Now he is working at EHC where he teaches in Navigation and collects flight hours towards the requirement he need to instruct in the helicopter.
